spring

spring is here and with her she brought many great things - solid foods (nanas mmmm), looooong naps (my nanny seems to really love these), and a budding vocabulary ( ba-da-mmmm- and ahhhhhhh). but most importantly, she brought my cousin olive catherine. i can't wait to meet her and teach her all the things i've learned-especially how to suck on your own hands!

Harper turned 3-months old Friday!!!

Happy Birthday Little Buddy! Daddy apologizes in advance for the shoddy quality of this video. He's still learning Adobe Premiere. This is a collection of videos and photos that mommy and daddy have taken over the past month. I'm changing everyday and learning new tricks. My favorite thing to do is to stare at my hands and try to make them do stuff.

i'm seven weeks old now. my days consist of sleep (i'm getting almost 5 hours straight now), poop, eat, and playtime with mommy and daddy. my favorite game is the tongue game- i can copy mommy's crazy tongue faces. she told me not to put up pictures of her, but here are a few of me being cute during our time together. and yes, my hair does this naturally. pretty soon i'll be ready for my ramones onesie and a pair of skinny jeans.

First Friend & Photo Shoot

so i've made my first friend. his name is benjamin and we share a nanny. our parents say we will be like brothers once we realize each other exists.

benjamin's mom carrie took these really kickin photos of me in her cool studio. i was a bit cold so i had a hard time sitting still, but for three weeks old, i managed pretty well.

How Many Harpers Do You Know??

Hey everybody! This is our first entry on what will be a great place for all of our friends and family to check up on us and see how things are going...

In case you've been living under a rock, or joined a circus or something, you should know that Samuel Harper Bush was born on 12/12/09 at 1:56 pm. He was born at Piedmont Hospital and everything went just fine. Mommy's recovery took a little longer than she would have liked, but overall, we we consider ourselves lucky. Both mommy and baby made it through to the other side and we're all enjoying our lives as a family now.

As I grow older and make all my firsties, my mommy and daddy will post photos and/or video of important events.
